  • KIM (MULFORD) FARMER Owner
    and Artistic Instructor

    Owner and Artistic Director of Mulford Dance Studio and Co-Founder of Tiny Tutus Dance Center

    Her students have gone on to dance with: Koresh Youth Dance Ensemble, Philadelphia Sixers Pre-Pro Dance Team, Sixers Mini Dance Team, Sixers, Junior Dance Team, Russian Ballet Theater of Delaware, Sesame Place, Atlantic City Casinos, Walnut Street Theater, Citrus Bowl in Florida, Nutcracker in Voorhees, Cruise Ships, Music Videos, Mummer’s, March of Dimes Telethon, local cable shows, Al Albert’s TV Show, performances at 6 Flags Great Adventure, The televised Millennium Celebration at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, danced in local pageants including Mrs. NJ and Mrs. Pa Pageants, Danced at the NJ Governor’s Mansion, Eagle’s Cheerleaders. KIXX Dance Team, Phila Soul Dance Team, 76ers Dance Team, and many university/college dance teams. Several have trained and gone on to open their own studios or teach at our studio.

    • Choreographed for the Mrs. NJ and the Mrs. Pennsylvania Pageants.
    • Judging the 2008 Mummer’s String Band division in the Philadelphia New Year’sParade!
    • JUNE 2008- Kim celebrated her 40th dance recital!
    • The latest addition to her resume is being one of the choreographers for the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, DC April 4th, 2009, 2011, and 2012.
    • Kim is choreographing the Opening Float Production in the Philadelphia 4th of July Parade 2009!

    • Kim choreographed the Hegeman String Band in the 2014 Philadelphia Mummer’s parade. The band came in 2nd place and their captain, John Baron, received 1st place.
    • She attended the Dance Teacher Summit in New York City July 2014.
    • Kim attended The Twinkle Star Dance Convention in Philadelphia August 2014 becoming an official member. This exciting new curriculum will be implemented in the studio beginning this season

     

    Kim has become a Silver Swans Licensee with the Royal Academy of Dance– 2019-2020. She looks forward to setting up this program to offer ballet to the mature adult!

    We are thrilled to have won ‘Top Studio Tap Excellence Award at OnStage Nationals 2018’.

  • HEATHER TROUT HEALEY Co-director of our dance company
    Instructor

    Heather trained at Nancy Mulford Studio of Dance since age seven studying ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and gymnastics. She became a member of our dance company performing in shows and competitions all over the tri-state area. When Heather graduated high school, she went on to nursing school where she received her degree as an RN. Heather is a full-time nurse with a passion for dance. Lucky for us!

    Heather’s focus became hip-hop and tap. She studied in Philadelphia and New York to gain a strong dance vocabulary in these popular forms of dance.

    Heather seeks out many different learning opportunities including Tremaine Dance Conventions, NYCDA Dance Conventions, The Pulse Teachers Workshops and the Dance Teacher Summit. Currently, Heather has been studying monthly with the CLI Studios.

    Most recently Heather and her students have achieved much success. Heather and her students have achieved multiple Entertainment and Choreography Awards at regional and national competitions. Notably, in 2018, Heather’s routine “Puttin’ on the Ritz” was awarded National Overall Champions at the On Stage America Competition and the Overall Tap Excellence Award.

    Heather strives to provide a healthy learning environment for her students in order for them to shine and entertain on stage.

  • DEVON FICARRA CO-DIRECTOR OF OUR DANCE COMPANY
    Instructor


    Devon has been with the Mulford Dance Studio for ten years. She graduated as a dance major from the University of the Arts in May 2004. She studied dance in her home state of Massachusetts. Devon competed with her dance company in groups as well as solos. She toured with Starpowers National Talent Competitions Power Pak where she studied with many top-notch choreographers.Devon’s choreography for our junior and senior dancers has been amazing and we are proud to have her on our faculty.

  • KATIE SAVAIIANAEA ELISAIA Hawaiian Instructor


    Katie is of Samoan descent and has been in the Polynesian Dance & Luau entertainment business for 25 years. She has performed extensively throughout the East Coast as well as abroad in New Zealand. She is also the Owner of the South Pacific Island Dancers Studio as well as Director of Show Operations for South Pacific Island Dancers Professional Entertainment. She teaches all styles of Polynesian Dance including both Ancient and Modern Hula & Tahitian.

  • LISA EVANICH Director of Apprentice Line and Petite Company
    Instructor

    Lisa grew up dancing and performing around her hometown of Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Temple University’s Department of Dance. Lisa started teaching at our studio in 2002. Her student’s growth in dance is a testament to her dedication to the art of dance and to the studio. While keeping it fun, her goal is to keep her students educated in the art of dance.

  • DANA RASMUSSEN Instructor


    Dana has had a passion for dance since she was a young girl. She has trained at Nancy Mulford Studio since a young age. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz and gymnastics. Dana attended Rider University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Journalism and Public Relations. We are proud to have her teaching young children’s classes and Teen Tap, as well as Hip Hop classes. Dana has also had the pleasure of being a part of the choreographing of the Junior/Senior Dance company.

  • KATIE EMMERLING Instructor


    Katie began dancing at the age of three at Mulford Dance Studio and continues to dance there today. She was a member of our dance company for nine years. During this time she competed and performed. She performed in local parades and shows, Walt Disney World, the Philadelphia Channel 6 Thanksgiving Day Parade including the opening and closing numbers in addition to Disney productions, Philadelphia Fourth of July Parade, the Washington D.C. Cherry Blossom Parade and the Miss America Parade in Atlantic City.

    She has attended dance conventions including NYCDA and Tremaine where she has taken classes with choreographers including Travis Wall, Joey Dowling, Suzi Taylor and Joe Lanteri. She currently attends Rowan University where she is majoring in Education and Math. She attended the Twinkle Star Dance Convention in Philadelphia August 2014.

  • KERI HARRIS DIRECTOR OF OUR BABYLINE AND MINI'S
    Instructor


    Keri has trained with us since a very young age. She was a member of our Dance Company. After graduating high school, Keri went to college becoming a school teacher. Currently, she teaches in the Gibbsboro School district.

  • COLLEEN RYAN Instructor


    Miss Colleen has trained in dance from a very young age at Mulford Dance Studio and continued her dance education at the Southern NJ Academy of the Performing Arts, majoring in ballet, modern, and jazz. In addition to being a member of Pure Energy Entertainment, and Moxie Entertainment, she was also a member and captain of the Philadelphia Kixx Dance Team. She currently is an active staff member at Mulford Dance Studio, Kids Dance Mobile and Tiny Tutus Dance Center, teaching ages 2-13 in Ballet, Tap, Jazz,Hip-Hop, Summer Intensive – Hip-Hop, Cheer Dance and Contemporary. Students love Miss Colleen’s dynamic classes! She also attended Dance Teacher Summit in New York City July 2014 & Twinkle Star Dance Convention in Philadelphia August 2014. Colleen was the Gloucester Catholic High School Dance Team Captain 2014-2015.

  • Ariana Ferrari INSTRUCTOR

    Ariana has been dancing with the Mulford dance studio since the age of 2. She danced in the Mulford dance company for 8 years. She has trained at many well known dance conventions such as the pulse, Tremaine, Monsters of Hiphop, NYCDA and Jump. She has danced in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade and Cherry blossom parade. Ariana looks forward to passing her passion of dance onto the many generations to come.

  • Sabrina Mazzotta INSTRUCTOR


    Sabrina began dancing at the age of four at Mulford Dance Studio. She has studied numerous styles of dance over the years including: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hiphop, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theater, Pointe, and Hawaiian. She was part of the Mulford Dance Company for 10 years. With them she has performed in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, Dc, the Miss America Parade in Atlantic City, the Mummers Parade, and the West Chester Christmas Parade. As a company member she has also performed for the Philadelphia 76ers and in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Sabrina has attended the NYCDA and Pulse Dance Conventions, along with performing at many Dance Competitions, bringing home many special awards and High Honors. Sabrina has also trained at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, California, Broadway Dance Center in NYC, and the Millennium Dance Complex in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has also performed in many charity shows including Dance for Life. Sabrina is a very dedicated dancer and teacher. She has been on our Teaching Training Program for the past five years. Her dream is to become a Radio City Rockette. Sabrina continues her education at Mulford Dance Studio and is currently a student at Rowan University majoring in dance. Sabrina continues her education at Mulford Dance Studio and recently graduated from Rowan University with a degree in Dance May 2018. Sabrina auditioned, was selected, and trained in the Radio City Rockettes Summer Intensive July 2019! She feels blessed and honored to have had such an amazing experience. We are immensely proud of her! She is looking forward to sharing her growing knowledge and love of dance with many students.

  • Mandi Dorfman Instructor

    Mandi is so excited to share her love of dance with the students of Mulford once again! She loves being able to watch them grow and excel in her musical theatre and tap classes, her favorite genres! Mandi has been teaching dance for 9 years after pursuing a degree in theatre. Mandi started her own theater company, The Standing Ovation Theater Company in Riverside, NJ. She is ready for an awesome year of dance!

    Studied dance including tap and ballet under Miss Porter.
    Sue has been teaching for over 30 years.
    Many of Miss Sue’s students have won various titles in gymnastics and acrobatics
    Her love of Gymnastics shows through with every class!
