The Nancy Mulford Dance Studio offers training in all levels of dance from preschool through adults with an emphasis on performance.
We have 4 studios at our facility which allows many classes for your convenience.

Introducing NOELLE!
NOELLE IS AN AMAZING B-GIRL WHO TEACHES BREAK DANCING, HIP-HOP, MODERN, AND A CONTEMPORARY PILATES MIX.
HER ADULT EXERCISE CLASSES ARE AMAZING. NOT ONLY DO YOU GET A GREAT WORK-OUT BUT YOU LEARN ALL THE LATEST HIP-HOP DANCE MOVES!
She taught master classes this summer at our Intensive and the students loved her classes.
NOELLE is a Certified Aerobics Instructor.

We are so happy to have Marianne back at the studio! Marianne trained at Mulford Dance Studio for 15 years, was part of our teacher-training program for 2 years. She left as a student teacher to go to college and is returning ready to teach on our faculty. Her resume is amazing. She received a MS in Occupational Therapy (May 2011) at Thomas Jefferson University, BS in Exercise and Sport Science (May 2009) Ursinus College *Cum Laude, Major in Dance (May 2009) Ursinus College, Minor in Biology (May 2009).
Marianne is as excited about teaching as we are to have her on our staff!

SOME OF THE FACULTY WENT TO NEW YORK CITY IN JULY FOR A 3-DAY TEACHER CONVENTION RUN BY BROADWAY DANCE CENTER, ‘THE PULSE’. ON THE TEACHING STAFF THERE WILL BE Mia Michaels!, Desmond Richardson!, Wade Robson!, Tyce Diorio!, Brian Friedman! And many more!
Our goal is to stay at the top of our game so we can pass it on to our students!

Mulford Dance Studio has been serving the South Jersey area for over 52 years! Our Mulford Dance Studio in the Cherry Hill area is a multi-faceted dance center that specializes in preparing boys and girls for performances in Creative Dance, Ballet, Pointe, Hip-hop, Jazz, Tap, Hawaiian, Modern, and Gymnastics. Children trained in performance qualities are more adept in social situations, school presentations and leadership roles. We are not in the business of primarily building dancers, we build people. Fairies float at Mulford Dance Studio. Disney characters come to life. Holidays are magical. Skeptical? You and your children can experience first-hand what study after study has shown: creative movement flows through the body and transforms the mind. In this safe haven kids dance like no one is watching. Then they hone their skills so they can fly! Mulford Dance Studio has changed the lives of countless students. Dancing in front of thousands at the Wachovia Center or Madison Square Garden gives unfound confidence. Small children have found lasting friendships through song while running, skipping, and jumping together. Solid benefits from dancing at Mulford Dance Studio flow out into the students everyday lives. Performing in front of an audience gives the person the guts to give a speech. Students become flexible and keep their bodies healthy. Original thoughts and independence that comes from creative movement helps little ones try other new things- maybe even veggies. 'Tiny Dancers 'is the creative movement class we developed ourselves using over 60 years combined experience. For the students who want to perform, Mulford Dance Studio offers ample opportunities to shine. Their in-house dance companies have entertained huge audiences with their dazzling talent and style at venues like Madison Square Garden. Wachovia Center, Walt Disney World, cruise ships, NJ Govenor's Mansion, television programs like Al Alberts, the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, Washington DC's Cherry Blossom Parade, Citrus Bowl in Florida, March of Dimes Telethon, also, nursing homes, schools, plus more. We are proud to have brought in Destination Broadway to our studios a couple years ago, as we still have students attending their week-long intensive each summer in New York City. Also, we have brought in Broadway Dance Center in the past to give our students classes with teachers from the dance capital mecca, New York City! Our own summer intensive, which is open to all students, brings in Radio City Rockettes, Broadway dancers, and teachers specializing in all different dance genres. We are proud of our adult dance program. Currently, there are five different classes for adults including ballet, tap, jazz, hawaiian, and hiip-hop. The professional staff of educated and nurturing adults teaches dance classes on sprung or wood floors. Teachers stay current attending conventions and seminars. With four studios and over ten teachers, any dancer can find a class to join to fit around their schedule. |
